Maintaining her diligence, passion, and faith, Nicole understands how blessed she is by sharing her talents to the Entertainment Industry!
No matter what the role, Nicole Davenport has truly made a mark for herself in the performing arts. Having just wrapped up the independent film “INEXISTENT,” Nicole has continuously remained an actress who delivers a role with depth and fire in every role she’s played. Whether through her nomination for Best Actress in a Short Film at the Newark Film Festival for her role in Heavy Nimbrostraus Clouds, or her portrayal of "Pearl" in the production of "Scribblin' at the Automat” which debuted at The Kimble Theatre in NYC - a role that playwright Arthur Alleyne wrote with Ms. Davenport in mind after seeing her portrayal of Billie Holiday in her one-woman show - one truly sees that she has undeniable staying power!
A native of Philadelphia, Nicole attended The High School for Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA) where she studied dance. After graduating CAPA, and under the mentorship of Cheryl Ann Wadlington of Evoluer House, Nicole decided to focus on modeling instead and became a much sought-after
model throughout the Tri-State area and Europe market. In the early 2000 Ms. Davenport began her transition from modeling to acting, appearing in featured spots on Sex and the City, Lateline and The Cosby Show. She understood what it would take to perfect her craft and began to study at Weist Barron studios, leading her to her first theatre production in “Now is the Winter of our Discontent.” Her role as Billie Holiday in the production, led Nicole to performing her one-woman show which she and her manager Ife O’ Berry produced,The Light and Dark of Billie Holiday” at City Center NYC. Nicole went on to be featured in various plays such as Ntozake Shange's "Photographs: Lover’s In Motion” at the Here Theatre NYC, and most recent the comedy “The Jamaican Talk Show Host” at the Playwright Theatre in NYC.
